Description

In this workshop, students will dive into the delicate art of quilling, using strips of paper to create intricate designs. They'll learn techniques for rolling, shaping, and gluing paper to form decorative patterns, florals, and even lettering. With time to create their own unique piece, students will also consider how quilling could be applied to products like greeting cards, wall art, or gifts.

This Skill Discovery Workshop offers a deep dive into one specific making style - quilling - giving students the chance to develop hands-on skills while exploring how their creativity can connect to real-world possibilities. Workshop includes time for making, reflection, and discussions about entrepreneurship. The workshop also encourages collaboration and reflection, allowing participants to engage with peers and facilitators in a supportive and innovative setting. Students will not only gain practical skills but also discover how their creative hobbies might lead to potential ventures.

Workshops are 50-75 minutes and tailored to fit your schedule, with all tools and materials provided. This is an in-person workshop that can be done onsite in your classroom, or can be scheduled at the Amazeum.

Available exclusively in Northwest Arkansas.
